GT3 LAVAREDO – UCI Gravel World Series e Brevetto Audax ARI

1.1 – Organising Committee

GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES – is organised by A.S.D. Pedali di Marca, in collaboration with Golazo, the Municipal Administration of Auronzo di Cadore, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters.

1.2 – Reference Rules

GT3 LAVAREDO will take place in compliance with these regulations, the official programme of the event, and the decisions taken by the Race Jury and the Organising Committee.

For matters not covered in these regulations, the rules and general standards issued by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the Federazione Ciclistica Italiana (FCI) shall apply.

1.3 – Date and Venue

GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES will take place on Saturday, 20 June 2026, with start and finish in Auronzo di Cadore (BL).

  • 08.45 GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES (Amateur Men Category 60 and over)
  • 08.50GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES (Amateur Women Category 50 and over)
  • 09.00BREVETTO AUDAX ARI – GT3 LAVAREDO – randonnée-style event with free pace, GPX track, to be completed within a maximum of 32 hours

2.1 – GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES

Participation in GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES is open to athletes registered with U.C.I./F.C.I. for the year 2026 and to members of bodies affiliated with the Federazione Ciclistica Italiana.

Participation is allowed with gravel or MTB bikes.

Participants will be divided into different categories based on age groups, both male and female.

Admitted categories:

19 – 34 Y

35 – 39 Y

40 – 44 Y

45 – 49 Y

50 – 54 Y

55 – 59 Y

60 – 64 Y

65 – 69 Y

70 – 74 Y

75 – 79 Y

Entry into the starting grids is permitted 20 minutes before the scheduled start time of the respective group (example: start at 8:30 – grid entry at 8:10).

Starting from a grid other than the one assigned, without written authorisation from the Organising Committee, will result in automatic disqualification from the race ranking

GT3 LAVAREDO is a qualifying event granting a number of participation rights  for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships.

The percentage of qualified athletes for each age group will be confirmed before the finalisation of the 2026 calendar.

Participation in the World Championships requires presentation of an FCI/UCI licence and the exclusive use of a gravel bike.

A minimum of three participants per age group is required, and finishing the race is mandatory to obtain qualification for the World Championships.

Five-year age groups are created at the time of registration, based on the participant’s age.

Participation in the GT3 LAVAREDO route for non-registered riders (Hobby – adults of both sexes) is allowed only by purchasing a day licence and upon presentation of a competitive medical certificate.

The daily pass must be requested exclusively from EVODATA through the event registration platform, at an additional cost of €25.00

2.2 – GT3 LAVAREDO Brevet

Participation in the BREVETTO AUDAX ARI – GT3 LAVAREDO is open to all holders of a medical certificate for non-competitive sports activity, in accordance with D.M. of 18/02/82 and/or D.M. 24/04/13.

An “Audax ARI brevet” is a certification of completion for a non-competitive cycling excursion (randonnée) organised under the rules of Audax Randonneur Italia (ARI).

This certification confirms that the cyclist has completed a specific route while respecting the required distances, times, and control points set by the regulations.

The goal is not speed, but completing the route while enjoying the journey and companionship, unlike competitive races.

2.3 – Youth Categories

Participation is not permitted for the Giovanissimi, Esordienti, or Allievi categories

3.1 – Opening of registrations

Registrations open on 10 November 2025  and close on 16 June 2026, unless all available places are filled earlier.

3.2 – Availability of places

The maximum number of registrations allowed is 1,500.

The Organising Committee (O.C.) reserves the right to increase this number in favour of Open athletes and invited wild cards.

The O.C. may at any time suspend registrations, even if the maximum limit of 1,500 athletes has not yet been reached.

3.3 – Entry fee

The entry fee is established according to the following criteria:

– For the GRAVEL WORLD SERIES route, the entry fee includes all race services (course, medical and mechanical assistance, refreshment points), race pack and race kit, and pasta party.

– For the AUDAX ARI BREVET route, the entry fee includes all race services (course, GPX track), race pack and race kit, and pasta party.

In case of cancellation or suspension of the event due to force majeure or causes not attributable to the organiser, the entry fee will not be refunded.

3.4 – Additional paid EVODATA services

GPS live tracking service: an optional extra service chosen by the participant during registration, using the EVODATA app for personal tracking (as a safety feature allowing family members to follow the rider via a dedicated link). The cost of this service is to be requested directly from EVODATA (extra to the registration fee and optional).

3.5 – Registration method

Registration can be completed via the website www.gt3lavaredo.com, “Online registration”, which automatically connects you to the online registration procedure.

3.6 – Fattore K

Only clubs affiliated with the F.C.I. are required to register their athletes via the federal IT system, using the race codes assigned by the Federazione Ciclistica Italiana.

The race can be easily found via the “Races” link by entering the “Race ID” in the appropriate field.

Failure to register through the federal system will result in non-admission to the race.

For clubs affiliated with other recognised cycling bodies, it is sufficient to follow the registration procedures described in Art. 3.4.

Please note that participation is by invitation: failure to pay the registration fee automatically excludes the athlete from participation.

3.7 – Replacement of a participant

A participant who has completed registration may transfer their entry to another person by communicating all relevant data to gt3lavaredo@evodata.it.

A €10.00 administrative fee will be charged for this operation.

The deadline for replacements is 31 May 2026.

3.8 – Cancellation of participation

No refunds will be provided by the Organising Committee; however, a partial refund may be requested from Evodata, as the registration fee includes insurance in case of justified non-participation.

3.9 – Checks and complaints

The list of registered participants will be periodically updated on www.gt3lavaredo.com.

3.10 – Course change

It is possible to switch to another course, subject to bib number availability. A €10.00 administrative fee will be applied for this operation. The deadline for changes is 31 May 2026.

3.11 – Licence checks

The checking of licences for competitive categories is under the authority of the Race Commissaires’ Panel.

The checking of licences for amateur categories is under the authority of the Organising Committee. Any special cases will be reviewed by the Commissaires’ Panel.

Licence verification will take place at the race office, located at Pala Tre Cime, Via Zardus, Auronzo di Cadore, at the following times:

  • Friday 19 June 2026 / 15:00 – 18:00
  • Saturday 20 June 2026 / 06:30 – 08:00

4.1 – Course

  • LARGE course: 133 km and 3,170 m elevation gain
  • MEDIUM course: 105 km and 2,470 m elevation gain (for female categories and men aged over 60)

4.2 – Starting grids

The starting grids for GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES will be defined according to categories.

Otherwise, the order will follow the chronological order of registration.

Athletes starting in the wrong grid will be disqualified.

4.3 – Refreshment points

Along the route, refreshment points will be provided. Their number and locations will be published on the website www.gt3lavaredo.com.

4.4 – Cronometraggio

Il cronometraggio sarà gestito da EVODATA.

4.4 – Timing

Timing will be managed by EVODATA.

4.5 – Intermediate controls

At the start, at the finish, and along the course, there will be intermediate checkpoints.

Failure to pass even one checkpoint will result in exclusion from the rankings.

4.6 – Maximum times

Along the UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES courses, certain time limits will apply:

  • PASSO MONTE CROCE COMELICO: 12:00
  • CARBONIN: 15:00

Athletes who reach these control points after the time limit will have their race number removed and must leave the race course.

The finish line will close at 17:30.

For the AUDAX ARI BREVET course, no time gates are set, as it is a “free-pace journey”.

However, the maximum completion time is fixed for Sunday 21 June at 17:00.

4.7 – Mechanical assistance

A mechanical assistance service will be available in the start/finish area.

Along the route, there will be designated areas for refuelling and authorised technical assistance managed by teams. These areas will be clearly marked and numbered, closed to the public, and accessible only to authorised personnel with accreditation.

4.8 – Authorised technical assistance

Authorised technical assistance during the race consists of the repair or replacement of any bicycle components except the frame.

Changing bicycles is prohibited; the competitor must cross the finish line with the same number plate assigned at the start.

Technical assistance may be performed only in the designated areas, which must be located outside the race route so as not to obstruct competitors.

Materials and tools for repairs must be placed within these zones.

Repairs and replacement of parts may be carried out by the rider, by a teammate, by a team mechanic, or by neutral assistance if available.

In addition to assistance in the designated zones, assistance is also permitted outside these zones only between competitors belonging to the same team or delegation.

Competitors may carry tools and spare parts with them, provided these do not pose a danger to themselves or others.

Refuelling of athletes is permitted only in areas designated as refreshment/assistance points.

4.9 – Race Jury

The race jury for GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES will be announced in the coming months.

5.1 – Entry into the rankings

All athletes, both competitive and amateur, who complete the entire course within the maximum time limits and correctly display their front and back race numbers, as well as properly install the timing chip, will be included in the rankings.

Crossing the finish line without having properly completed one’s assigned course will result in a report to the relevant jury, which will take the appropriate measures.

Any rider who is slower than the time limit at the time gates will be taken out of the race. Their race number will be removed, and they must immediately leave the course. Riders withdrawn from the course under this rule will be listed in the final results sheet in the order in which they left the course.

5.2 – Individual rankings

Individual rankings will be drawn up based on riding time, not on the order of arrival.

Rankings will be published in the press and on the website www.gt3lavaredo.com.

5.3 – Awards GT3 LAVAREDO – 2026 UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES

The top 3 overall finishers in each category (M/F) will be awarded:

  • the UGWS jersey,
  • the UCI medal,
  • and natural prizes arranged by the Organising Committee.

5.4 – Awards Audax ARI Brevet – GT3 LAVAREDO

As this is a non-competitive cycling event, no rankings or awards are provided.

5.5 – Finisher’s medal

GT3 LAVAREDO has created a commemorative medal for the event, which will be presented to ALL athletes as soon as they cross the finish line.

It will be a unique keepsake, treasured both for its artistic value and for the symbolic significance it represents.

5.6 – Prize collection

The Flower Ceremony and awards will take place in the finish area, at the Bucintoro area on the shore of Lake Santa Caterina.

Natural prizes will be handed to the rightful recipients at the race office immediately after the awards ceremony and, in any case, from 15:00 onwards.

Delegates or postal shipment requests will not be accepted.

Uncollected prizes will be donated to charity.

5.7 – Certificate of participation

A personalised participation certificate may be downloaded from the website of the company managing the timing service.The certificate will be available only to athletes who have reached the finish line and are officially ranked.

6.1 – General rules

Slower competitors are required to facilitate overtaking by faster athletes.

Sections with poor visibility must be ridden at an appropriate speed.

On descents, never exceed your technical limits.

Any mechanical breakdowns must be repaired off the race track.

Anyone who does not comply with these rules will be immediately disqualified.

6.2 – Type of bicycles

For the UCI GRAVEL WORLD SERIES, participation is permitted with gravel or MTB bikes that are suitable and in proper working condition.

For the GT3 LAVAREDO – AUDAX ARI BREVET, participation is open to any type of bicycle, including e-bikes, provided they are in proper working condition.

6.3 – Helmet

The use and correct fastening of an approved cycling helmet are mandatory.

6.4 – Medical assistance

The medical service includes ambulances with doctors and nurses, fixed first aid points (one of which is permanent in the finish area), mobile units with motorbikes and specialised personnel, as well as fixed and mobile radio assistance stations.

6.5 – “Broom wagon” service

Athletes who withdraw and are unable to return to the start point will be assisted and transported to the finish area by service vehicles as soon as possible.

6.6 – Insurance

The event is insured in accordance with F.C.I. regulations.

6.7- Route marking

The route will be preliminarily marked from May onwards.

Some sections are closed to the public and will be open only on race day (detours will be indicated).

Challenging sections such as steep or technical descents, bends, and refreshment points will be clearly signposted with visible warning panels.

Kilometres will be marked in descending order (indicating distance remaining to the finish).

At the start of the most demanding climbs, a sign will indicate the climb’s characteristics (elevation gain, gradient, and length).

Final and complete course marking will take place from the Monday preceding the race.

6.8 – Race signage

Lead motorbikes will display a sign “Start of the cycling race”; following motorbikes will display “End of the cycling race”.

The competition will take place partly on public and partly on private roads: therefore, all participants must comply with traffic regulations as well as UCI and FCI rules.

6.9 – Vehicles following the race

The only vehicles authorised to follow the race are those (properly identified) belonging to organisers and commissaires.

Private vehicles are not permitted to follow the race.

6.10 – Environmental protection

Refuelling is permitted only in areas designated as refreshment/assistance zones.

It is strictly forbidden to throw litter along the course; all waste must be placed in bins located after the refreshment points.

Leaving the marked route is also prohibited.

Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification

7.1 – Disclaimer of liability

The association Pedali di Marca declines all responsibility, both for itself and its collaborators, for accidents or damage to persons or property that may occur before, during, or after the event, or as a result thereof.

Participation is entirely at one’s own risk.

By registering, each participant waives any right of complaint or legal action, even against third parties, against the Organising Committee and all individuals and legal entities involved in the organisation of the event.

7.2 – Complaints

As required by current FCI regulations, any complaints must be submitted to the jury in writing within 30 minutes after the end of the race, accompanied by a deposit of €50.00.

If the complaint is accepted, the deposit will be refunded.

7.3 – Home photography

The organisation declines any responsibility for photographs taken or sent by unauthorised operators

7.4 – Lost & found

Items found in the start/finish area or along the race route must be handed over to the Race Office manager and will be kept by the Organising Committee for return to their rightful owners.

7.5 – Changes

Changes to the regulations, route, and elevation profile are reserved to the Organising Committee (O.C.).

The event will take place in all weather conditions, and only the Head of the Organising Committee has the authority to cancel the competition.

All information will be published online, at the race office, and on the information board.

If, due to force majeure or any other reason beyond the organisation’s control, the event does not take place, the registration fee will neither be refunded nor transferred to the following year.

7.6 – Signature

By signing the registration form, the participant declares that they hold a valid licence, have read these regulations, and consent to the use of their personal data in accordance with Privacy Law no. 675 of 31/12/96.

This also applies to those registering individually by form, online, by letter, or by fax.

7.7 – Privacy law – Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003

In full compliance with Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 concerning the protection of personal data, the information requested upon registration will be used exclusively for the normal administrative activities of the event, as well as for any proposals or communications relating to the activities of ASD Pedali di Marca.

Updates or deletion of data may be requested by writing to:
